We established in 2009, and we legally registered in 2013 as Mahalakshmi Builders and Contractors. In 2021, we added the trade name as Mahalakshmi Universal Contracting ( MUC ) and started to concentrate only in Government sector projects. Presently we work for DRDA (District Rural Development Agency) in Nilgiris district and in Town Panchayat union, Ooty.

Head Of Construction

Our Head of Construction, Er. Kathiresh S Karunanithi holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Anna University and he has also obtained Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He commenced his professional journey as an Assistant Manager for Operations and Maintenance within the manufacturing sector of a prominent Dubai-based organization, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and rose to the position of General Manager.

Leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience gained in the construction and manufacturing industries, he established an Indian-based construction company in 2013 and successfully expanded its operations to Dubai. His international exposure further propelled him into the manufacturing industry and international gold trading, where he demonstrated remarkable entrepreneurial acumen.

Currently, Er. Kathiresh S. Karunanithi holds the esteemed position of Chief Financial Officer of five multinational companies. With his profound expertise in finance and accounting, he plays a pivotal role in budgeting, fundraising, and preparing comprehensive financial reports. His primary objective is to ensure the judicious utilization of the organization's financial resources, thereby contributing to its overall success and sustainability.
